Joan Apter

is an Aromacologist with over 24 years of training in the use and application of  Essential Oils. She has advanced training in the applications of essential oils from Ege University in Izmir, Turkey and holds an international certificate of study from the Pacific Institute of Aromatherapy. 

Joan has studied all over the world with luminaries in the field, including Dr. Daniel Penoel, Jean Claude LaPraz, Michael Scholes,

Valerie Ann Worwood, Kurt Schnaubelt and Dr. Gary Young.

Joan offers essential oil applications for  physical, mental/emotional and spiritual balance.

She writes ³The Aromatherapy Column² for the national magazine, ³Healing Retreats and Spas.² Ms. Apter offers Aromatherapy massage and classes for corporate education, hospital support groups, community networks, schools, spas and wellness centers. Joan has had over 29 years of platform experience, both in training and keynote speaking. Her work has taken her to 26 countries worldwide.

For seven years, Ms. Apter was the Regional Training Manger for Elan Vital, Inc., an international nonprofit educational organization.
